On Our Sleeves® is a national children’s mental health program based at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The program provides mental health education, actionable resources and advocacy efforts in order to break child mental health stigmas and improve the well-being of children in every community across America. This session, led by On Our Sleeves’ Clinical Director, Dr. Parker Huston, will focus on ways educators can improve confidence in discussing mental health in the school setting, integrate lessons about mental health into existing curriculum and highlight free resources available to educators in order to meet these goals.
