Unpacking Assessment and Maximizing its Value
Join the Association of American Educators, Nicholas Munyan-Penney (The Education Trust) and Jamie Gonzales (New Meridian) as you develop a deeper understanding of different assessment systems and explore how they can support educators and student learning. Our educational system promises to support students in their journey to becoming the leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers of tomorrow. We have a responsibility to check that our system is keeping its promise to all students, and high-quality assessment is an essential lever in pursuing a more equitable education system. Administering assessments can be challenging, and we have to work together to ensure that the effort truly results in usable, accessible data that empowers stakeholders at every level.
On Our Sleeves
On Our Sleeves is the national movement to break stigmas around children's mental health. Through our partnership with them AAE is able to provide classroom resources for educators to use with their students.
